NYT Strands today (game #654) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #654, are…
- ACROSS
- AT THE BIAS
- CURVE
- OF GUINGOIS
- UNEQUAL
- INCLINED
- SPANGRAM: ALITTLEOFF
- My rating: Hard
- My rating: 1 clue
A nice set of synonyms that reminded me of several elements of pop culture.
The first is Charlie unbalanced, a cartoon character that a late friend of mine developed in the UK. The second is a pop song that has more than stood the test of time – Inclined from Christine & The Queens from 2014, whose best experience is a video featuring a very ASKEW dance routine.
These distractions aside, I had a hard time getting started today and needed a clue in the form of ASKEW. After that, it was a circular journey around the board, stopping when I thought the letters OFF must belong to spangram.

- KIND
