NYT Strands today (game #591) – the answers
The answers to today’s Strands, game #591, are…
- OPEN
- CLOSE
- ALARM
- ENTRANCE HALL
- GROUND
- BASEMENT
- SPANGRAM: ELEVATOR BUTTONS
- My rating: Moderate
- My rating: Perfect
Finding OPEN and CLOSED in quick succession, followed by ALARM, really helped me complete today’s shutters. Without that, I think I would have really struggled because I had no idea what the theme was referring to.
As is often the case with Strands, I saw the two-step ELEVATORBUTTONS spangram and was disappointed to see that it didn’t make a full trip up and down, stopping a line before a round trip to the GROUND FLOOR.
I also managed to complete the game without much thought about getting stuck in an ELEVATOR – although, to be honest, my real fear is being stuck in an elevator with no snacks.
Yesterday’s NYT Strands Answers (Tuesday October 14, Match #590)
