We were delighted to see the launch of Google Pixel 10 with a complete support for Qi2 wireless load standards – magnetic attachments and everything, similar to Apple Magsafe – but it seems that some of the official accessories already encounter problems.
As indicated by 9TO5GOOGLE and others, the pixelsnap ring stand that Google is starting to separate for certain early adopters. You can see some articles on Reddit describing problems that occur after a few days of use.
The support includes a ringing ring and a load cushion, and can operate as a flat charger or as a support with the two open components. The problem seems to be with the screws around the hinge which stands out, which means that the charger no longer works as a support.
At this stage, it is difficult to assess how popular the problem could be, but it is not an excellent look for Google’s quality control. We asked for comments on Google on the reported problems and update this story if we hear.
If you’ve already bought a stand, it could be worth taking a look at the screws and tightening them if necessary.

For the moment, Google has not officially said anything on a fault with the accessory, and the Pixelstand ring stand is still available on the Google store. We will update this story if it changes.
There are many third -party alternatives to the Pixelsnap ring stand if you are looking for something supporting your Pixel 10 handset while loading it: Case Makers Spigen, Ringke, Anker and UAG all have similar products for sale.
This is not the first issue we saw with the newly upgraded wireless charge standard on Pixel 10 phones: a few weeks ago, users reported problems with older wireless chargers connected to the new handsets in the Pixel 10 series.
Since we have waited so long for the Magsafe style load on Android (Samsung should soon upgrade its phones), it is a shame that the introduction of technology has not been fluid – although it seems that a few screws are to blame here.
