Islamabad:
The head of the opposition to the National Assembly, Omar Ayub Khan, firmly condemned Indian aggression not caused along the control line (LOC), declaring it an unacceptable and obvious violation of international standards.
He expressed his solidarity with innocent civilians injured in the attack and made prayers for martyrs who lost their lives in the uninsured assault of India.
He said that the nation and Pakistan Tehreek-e-insaf (PTI) are held firmly with soldiers, pilots, aviators and sailors defending the borders of Pakistan.
In a press release, the PTI chief said that India’s shameless missile strikes were unjustified, provocative and endangering the whole region’s peace and stability.
However, he deplored that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was “busy appearing Modi and India” instead of responding firmly “, all because of the commercial interests of the Sharif family with the Indian affairs magnate Sajjan Jindal, president of the JSW industries group”.
The opposition chief warned that Indian assault posed not only a threat to Pakistan but also for world peace.
