Rescue operations in areas affected by floods are carried out by institutions concerned and social protection organizations under the supervision of the National Disaster Management Authority.
Until now, national and international social protection organizations have distributed a total of 7,348 tonnes of emergency products.
The NDMA has also mobilized the private sector and industrial institutions and determines the areas of rescue activities as needed.
Mobile medical camps and health units have also been created while ambulances, tents, hygiene kits and mosquitoes have been provided by social protection organizations in affected areas.
