- Samsung accidentally revealed quantities of storage and RAM for the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7 and Z Flip 7 Fe
- The Galaxy Z Fold 7 will be apparently delivered with more RAM than its predecessor in the upper configuration
- A leak also showed certain cases of Flip 7 of Flip 7 and Z, some of which have magnets
Despite Samsung’s best efforts to stop them, phone leaks are inevitable, but generally, leaks intentionally share details rather than the manufacturer to do so accidentally.
In the case of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 and the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, however, we have now encountered two accidental leaks from Samsung itself.
The first was the sharing of certain colors on the Irish website of Samsung, and now Roland leak when a document of general conditions on a Turkish site Samsung, which mentions the quantities of RAM and the storage capacities for these coming phones.
The document indicates that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 comes with 12 GB of RAM twinned with 256 GB or 512 GB of storage, and that there is also a 16 GB version with 1 TB of storage. These storage capacities are the same as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, but in any case, this phone comes with 12 GB of RAM, so at the top, you should be able to get more with the Z Fold 7.
Flip 7 and Flip 7 Fe
Then, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 is listed as having 12 GB of RAM and a choice of 256 GB or 512 GB of storage. These are the same specifications as the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6.
There are also Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE specifications listed here, with the phone that had 8 GB of RAM and is presented in a choice of 128 GB or 256 GB of storage.
Given that all this comes directly from a Samsung site, these details are almost certainly exact, but we still cannot be certain 100% until Samsung announce the specifications on July 9 – and it is also possible that certain regions will have different configurations for others.
The magnetic load could require a case
In any case, we have also seen any cases disclosed for the Galaxy Z Flip 7 (shared by Android Tournets) and Galaxy Z Fold 7 (shared by Nieuwemobiel).
These do not reveal much about the phones that we have not already seen or heard, but it should be noted that some of the cases include magnets, which means that these phones will probably have the same magnetic load support as the Samsung Galaxy S25 series.
More specifically, you will probably be able to magnetically attach the chargers and other accessories, as with the Apple Magsafe system, except that the magnets will not be integrated into the phones themselves, you will therefore have to equip them with a magnetic case first. If so, it would be disappointing but not surprising.
Samsung should unveil all these phones during the next galaxy unpacked on July 9, so we have to discover exactly what they have to offer very soon.
