“These (bettors) are crazy and delusional,” she wrote on her Instagram stories on Wednesday, via the New York Post. “And I do not allow the DMS and I try to remember when to close my comments during the weeks of the tournament, but they always find a means of my chronology. This kind of thing has never really disturbed me, but does another sport treat at our level? I would like to know because it seems to be (mainly) tennis ?? it is so disturbing.”

The daughter of Terry and Kim Pegula, owners of the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabers, also shared screenshots of commentators who ridiculed her for the loss. Some have called her “bin” while others said she should simply appreciate being the daughter of billionaires.

There were also other unpleasant comments.

“You have sold this match on purpose,” a person wrote. “I can’t wait for Karma to come back to you. I hope your first child will be a motionless birth.”

Pegula added that “each person” on the Women’s Tennis Association deals with a certain horrible remark.

“I am told that my family should have cancer and die from people here regularly. Absolutely crazy,” she added.

“I saw stories of comments / threats / hunts in making the titles in other sports … Well, Flash tennis cannot guarantee that it is 100 times worse. The comments are constantly for us. Win or lose – that’s what they are betting on.

“In fact, threats crossed the NHL he was worried about and sent me. My answer was:” Oh that’s all? I get them all the time “which is so spoiled that it is my answer. Normalizing death threats!”

Pegula added that staying on social networks was inevitable because most of their sponsorship agreements involved publishing on their platforms.
