OPENAI has published new research saying that its AI tool technology offers major productivity advantages – while also recognizing that it could mainly disrupt certain areas negatively.
This year, Chatgpt was used by 28% of American adults for work ends, compared to 8% in 2023, which suggests that increasingly ensure with its advantages of productivity and efficiency.
Among its most popular use cases are learning and updating (20%), writing and communication (18%), programming, data science and mathematics (7%), creative ideas, commercial analysis and even translation.

Interestingly, while we generally see younger generations adopting emerging technologies faster, Openai has revealed that over 25 to 34 years old use Chatgpt (32%) compared to 18-24 year olds (24%), which suggests that generating AI could be more beneficial for a little higher positions than entry roles.
Lawyers, customer support agents, consultants, government employees and teachers all brought considerable time savings when using AI.
