An alliance of the opposition parties, including Pakistan Tehreek-E-insaf (PTI), announced a two-day conference for all parties (APC) in Islamabad on July 31 and August 1, Express News reported.
The announcement was made at a joint press conference by Tehreek-E-Tahaffuz-e-Ain Pakistan (TTAP) and senior opposition personalities in Islamabad, including TTAP chief Mehmood Khan Achakzai, chef Pti Salman Akram Raja, Babar Awan, Barrista Saif, Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar and others.
Achakzai said it was the first unleised political alliance at the request of an institution. “It is not a theater of political entertainment. Our alliance will continue until the creation of a neutral electoral commission, the supremacy of the constitution and the restoration of parliamentary sovereignty,” he said.

He criticized the formation of the current government, alleging that it had been imposed by fear and manipulation. “The party that won the general elections has imprisoned its leader.
Achakzai, who is also the leader of the PachToonkhwa Mill Awami party, has promised to campaign against the government of “street and the city”, extending the Gilgit-Baltistan movement to Gwadar.
He called for a peaceful protest movement and said that the next APC would also invite representatives of state institutions. “We will support all the oppressed groups in the country without any condition,” he said.
The president of Majlis Wahdatul Muslimeen (MWM), Allama Raja Nasir Abbas, has echoed similar concerns, questioning the legitimacy of recent political decisions, in particular those concerning reserved seats. “If democracy existed in Pakistan, the decision on the reserved seats would not have come. The parties welcoming such seats are like those who consumed careers-it is contrary to ethics,” he said.

He criticized military operations in Balutchistan, saying that they had failed to bring stability. “The use of force has never succeeded. It is always the people who win at the end,” he said.
Senator Abbas warned that any attempt to block peaceful demonstrations would be the responsibility of the government. A major demonstration under the banner of Tehreek-E-Tahaffuz-e-Ain (Constitution Protection Movement) is also scheduled for August 5.
In addition, Raja said that the movement was aimed at bringing the country back to the right direction and restoring constitutional democracy. “This country cannot be managed by coercion. Our movement is constitutional, ideological and peaceful,” he said. “No one should try to mistreat our protest to justify the repression of the state.”
He alleged that PTI supporters were punishable only for their political affiliation. “Today, walking on the street or raising your voice has become a crime. These are rights recognized by the Constitution, the United Nations and our religion,” he said.

The opposition alliance promised to continue its movement by constitutional and peaceful means, claiming that any repression would only strengthen its determination. The next APC should define the course of a coordinated political strategy through the parties of the parties.
