Oscar Piastri found himself entering the Miami Grand Prix of Formula One in the middle of a fight to eliminate Max Verstappen as world pilot champion.
With Piastri focusing on the championship, doing everything else seems eccentric. Even after the traces of other F1 stars who decided to take up a challenge on the Indycar circuit. Piastri said on Saturday that he had no interest in trying Indy 500.

The McLaren star said it was not for him, adding that driving in F1 has always been the dream for him.
“In addition, these guys are crazy. I think, for me, the speeds … The walls being so close, you have to put a lot of confidence in the people around you,” he said, via Indy Star. “Take an F1 car at the speeds we hurt.
“Add 20 to 30 mid / h … They are mainly 20 MPH faster as average speed than our top speed. It is not a question of hurting, it’s a question of what it will hurt.”

Piastri has a lead of nine points on his McLaren teammate, Lando Norris, entering the Miami Grand Prix. Verstappen is 19 points behind Piastri in third. George Russell and Charles Leclerc complete the first five.
The Indy 500 is set for May 25 and will be seen on Fox for the first time.
Marcus Ericsson and Alexander Rossi both run in Formula 1 before. Pato O’Ward, Christian Lundgaard and Felix Rosenqvist were one of those who ran in Formula 2 or in Formula 3 Durin their racing career.
