- Oukitel WP60 makes its debut with a massive 7.2 inch display and a punch hole selfie camera
- The rear cameras include a 108 Mp sensor, rare in robust devices
- Storage option scale from 256 GB basic to 512 GB of maximum capacity
Oukitel introduced WP60 to IFA 2025, a robust smartphone designed to push the limits of screen size and storage capacity.
The brand, already known for devices that prioritize sustainability compared to the delicate style, seems to be settled on difficult rivals such as Doogee, Ulefone and Blackview.
Unlike the recently published Oukitel WP300, which has focused on battery endurance rather than the strength of treatment, this new model is trying to provide a balance of size, storage and performance.
A very large robust or phablet smartphone
The 7.2 -inch HD + display of the WP60 and the 184 x 87 x 14.9 mm frame, place it firmly in Phablet territory rather than in standard robust smartphone dimensions.
This large panel, associated with Android 15.0, creates a device more suitable for users who could otherwise transport robust tablets to work in the field.
Resolution 720 x 1560 may feel limited on a 7.2 -inch panel, especially when clarity is essential.
This could be a drawback for commercial smartphones, where sharper screens are often necessary for productivity and communication tasks.
The WP60 is powered by the MTK Dimensity 7025 chipset and is available in three configurations: 8 GB + 256 GB, 12 GB + 512 GB and 16 GB + 512 GB.
This variety suggests that orkitel targets basic and heavy users, although the processor may not be powerful enough to manage demanding tasks at higher levels.
For photography, this mobile phone comes with a 32 MP front camera hosted in its display of punch hole.
At the rear, it has a triple camera configuration including a main camera of 108 MP, which is unusual in a robust smartphone, associated with an 8 MP and 2MP sensor.
To keep the device on the move, Oukitel incorporates a 10,000 mAh battery with a PD 33W load, which is average for robust devices.
It is not a surprise because Oukitel alternates the size of the batteries through its range, with models such as the WP200 Pro and the WP210 carrying 8,800 mAh of units, while the WP56 has a much larger capacity of 16,000 mAh.
The external appearance of the Oukitel WP60 echoes the Oukitel WP8 Pro from 2020.
Available in yellow, gray and silver, the device incorporates the recognition of fingerprints, the NFC and a gyroscope.
According to the company, this robust smartphone will arrive on the market on October 15, 2025, although the pricing details remain unexpected.
