Islamabad:
In the midst of the bubbling tensions exasperated by angry rhetoric of the two nuclear arms neighbors, Pakistan took a diplomatic overman on Thursday in order to prevent military climbing with India.
In a wave of diplomatic activities, the main leaders and diplomats of the country in the main Western capitals contacted managers and envoys to inform them about the errors in the Indian story about the Phalgame incident.
The diplomatic thrust occurred one day after the US Secretary of State Marco Rubio spoke by phone to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the Indian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sudrahmanyama Jaishankar and urged them to work with each other to defuse tensions.
The challenges seeming to increase on time, Chinese ambassador Jiang Zaidong called Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday at his office and stressed that Beijing would still support Islamabad to achieve the common desire of the two countries to ensure peace and stability in South Asia.
Ambassador Jiang thanked the Prime Minister for sharing Pakistan’s point of view on the emerging situation due to baseless Indian propaganda and unilateral action, according to a statement from the PM office.
The Prime Minister expressed his warm wishes to President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Li Qiang, and expressed sincere thanks from Pakistan to China for his solid and firm support in Pakistan in the dominant situation.
While recalling the recent telephone conversation between Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and the Darrier of Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, the Prime Minister thanked China for understanding Pakistan’s position in principle vis-à-vis India since April 22, 2025. In particular, the Prime Minister thanked China for his approval of his offer for a neutral and transparent international investigation of Pahalgam.
The Prime Minister said that Pakistan had always condemned terrorism in all its forms and demonstrations.
As a first line state in the war against terrorism, Pakistan has sacrificed more than 90,000 lives, while undergoing more than $ 152 billion in economic losses in its efforts to make the country, as well as the rest of the world, a safer place.
He added that the belligerent actions of India could distract Pakistan from its efforts to combat terrorism in progress against ISKP, TTP and BLA, which operated within Afghanistan.
The Prime Minister said that the decision of India from arms to water was extremely regrettable, especially since there was no provision for one or the other of the parties to set off unilaterally of its commitments under the Treaty of Water.
He also pointed out that the peaceful resolution of the Jammu and cashmere dispute was the only way to ensure lasting peace in South Asia.
The Chinese ambassador thanked the Prime Minister for sharing the point of view of Pakistan and stressed that China would always support Pakistan to achieve the common desire of the two countries to ensure peace and stability in South Asia.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had a telephone conversation with the Emir Qatari Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani Thursday evening and discussed developments in South Asia.
The Prime Minister thanked the solidarity and support of the Qatari emir in Pakistan which reflected the fraternal links deeply rooted between the two countries. He rejected India’s attempts to connect Pakistan to Pahalgam incident without any evidence and reiterated his offer for a credible, transparent and neutral international investigation.
The Prime Minister has expressed serious concerns about India’s armaments of India Water Basin, which he considered unacceptable, while stressing that water was the life buoy for the 240 million people in Pakistan.
Stressing the economic gains harshly won over the past year, the Prime Minister stressed that Pakistan would not accept any conceivable advantage by getting involved in such an incident at a time when he was on the path of economic stability.
The Emir Qatari appreciated Pakistan’s efforts for peace in South Asia and said that Doha wanted to work with Islamabad to ensure the de -escalation of the current crisis.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Senator Ishaq Dar, had a telephone conversation with the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia Tanja Fajon and discussed issues of bilateral and regional interest.
The DPM informed him of the evolution of the regional situation, firmly rejecting the baseless allegations of India and denounced unilateral actions, in particular the detention of the Water Treaty in the pending – a clear violation of international law.
FM Fajon called on the two countries to exercise reservoir and resolve questions by diplomacy, in accordance with international law. She welcomed Pakistan’s offer for an independent and transparent investigation.
As non -permanent members of the United Nations Security Council, the two leaders have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthen multilateral cooperation.
They also examined bilateral relations and agreed to further deepen links in all sectors.
In addition, DAR informed the Minister of Foreign Affairs of South Korea Cho Tae-Yul on the climbing of the regional situation resulting from the baseless propaganda of India and unilateral actions, in particular the detention of the Water Treaty in the pending.
Deputy Prime Minister Minsiter had organized a telephone conversation with the Korean Minister of Foreign Affairs, said a press release from the DPM office.
Expressing concern for the situation, FM Cho stressed the importance of solving problems through dialogue and diplomacy to maintain regional peace and security.
FM Cho appreciated the successful co-host of the third ministerial preparatory meeting for the United Nations peacekeeping in Islamabad last month. They also agreed to further strengthen bilateral relations through high -level exchanges.

Pakistan ambassador to the United States Rizwan Saeed Sheikh urged President Donald Trump to intervene and relieve the arrow tensions between India and Pakistan while the American chief is simultaneously resolving conflicts in Europe and the Middle East.
“If we have a president who represents peace in the world as an objective pronounced during this administration, to establish an inheritance as a peacemaker, or as a person who finished the wars, challenged wars and played a role in the deconflication, resolving disputes, I do not think there is a higher or more high or more flash point Magazine.

Pakistan Ambassador to the UN, Asim Iftikhar Ahmad, told OIC New York Ambassadors on Wednesday that India had threatened serious threats to regional peace and stability when he informed them of the last situation in South Asia.
A press release published by the Pakistani mission to the United Nations said that Ambassador Asim called the “behavior of India, very provocative, politically motivated and irresponsible”.
The members of the ICO, he said, expressed their full support and their solidarity to the government and the people of Pakistan.
They underlined the need for de-escalation thanks to diplomatic commitment and the fight against the deep causes of Indian-Pakistani tensions in order to ensure a fair settlement of the Jammu and cashmere dispute in accordance with the United Nations Security Council and the resolutions of the OIC.
