PAC panel denounces PSEB’s poor performance

ISLAMABAD:

A sub-committee meeting of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) on Wednesday considered audit objections related to the Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB).

The session was chaired by Moeen Amir Pirzada.

Speaking on the occasion, Senator Saleem Mandviwalla said the PSEB was “not working well”.

PSEB officials said there was a need to appoint technical experts in business development in Pakistani embassies abroad.

Mandviwalla argued that such professionals were needed “in the market, not in embassies”.

He further noted that most freelancers kept their income overseas.
