The American entrepreneur and an ardent defender of Bitcoin Michael Saylor welcomed Pakistan’s efforts on Sunday to adopt a prospective position in innovation in the global digital economy, said that a press release published by the Ministry of Finance.
According to the ministry, Saylor – Executive President of the Strategy, formerly Microstrategy, the largest Bitcoin holder in the world – attended a high -level meeting chaired by the Minister of Finance Muhammad Aurangzeb.
The discussion – also assisted by the Minister of State to Crypto and Blockchain Bilal Bin Saqib – concentrated the way Bitcoin could serve as a tool for sovereign reserves, monetary resilience and the conduct of the long -term digital economic transformation of Pakistan, she added.
This strategic dialogue has marked another important step in Pakistan’s efforts to build a political framework for rustic digital assets, attract global institutional interest and position itself as an emerging market ready for bitcoin and bitcoin.
“Pakistan has many brilliant people. It also has a commitment and clarity including companies around the world.” Saylor added. He praised Pakistan’s efforts to adopt a prospective and innovation position in the global digital economy.
