Karachi:
The Pakistani navy and the Turkish navy successfully concluded the first bilateral amphibious exercise which marked an important step in strengthening maritime collaboration and interoperability between two friendly navies.
The exercise presented a full range of training activities, including combat shooting techniques, amphibious operation exercises, convoy escort exercises and military operations on urban field, said a press release published by the Directorate of General Public Relations (Pak Navy).
Live shooting exercises and close combat scenarios, designed to refine tactical coordination and preparation in coastal environments were also part of the exercise. The exercise culminated with a complete amphibious exercise in the designated coastal area validating the operational preparation of the two navies.
