Pakistan calls for global action against Israel on Iranian aggression

Pakistan firmly condemned “unjustified and illegitimate aggression” by Israel on Thursday, urging Iran, urging the international community and the United Nations to take immediate measures to respect international law and hold responsible Israel.

He also declared that Pakistan was held in a “resolved solidarity” with the Iranian people and denounced Israeli actions as glaring provocations which constitute a serious threat to regional and global peace, security and stability.

The spokesman also confirmed that the Darrier and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ishaq Dar had organized telephone conversations with his counterparts from Iran, Turkiye, Egypt, Water and the United Kingdom.

FO spokesperson said discussions focused on deteriorating the regional situation, the leaders expressing their concern about climbing.

They agreed to work together to maintain peace and stability and stressed the need to defuse tensions, he added.

The fighting between Iran and Israel entered their seventh consecutive day on Thursday with new missile strikes reported in the south and the center of Israel, including a direct blow in a hospital in Beersheba.

Israeli officials said that Iran had launched “dozens” missiles, some of whom hit areas near Tel Aviv as well as the Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba. The hospital was heavily damaged, with parts engulfed by flames.

Shlomi Codish, the director of the hospital, reported that 40 people had been injured during the strike. “Several districts have been completely demolished and there is significant damage throughout the hospital,” he said.

In response, Iranian officials said that the objective of the missile dam was a military and nearby intelligence establishment, not the hospital.
