The United Nations:
Pakistan has called to reform the architecture of international debt to make it more fair, sustainable and responsive to the needs of developing countries.
“In the absence of a foreseeable global system for the restructuring of debt, most countries faced with debt constraints optionally continue to respond to their debts, at the cost of diverting the resources of critical areas for growth and Long -term development, such as health and education, “Senator Syed Faisal Ali Sabzwari declared to the annual parliamentary hearing, a joint initiative of the President of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) and the ‘Inter-parliamentary union (IPU).
