Islamabad:
Friday, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif firmly sentenced the recent approval by the Israeli cabinet to assume control of Gaza City, the illegal and illegitimate appellant and warning that this decision represents a dangerous escalation in the current conflict in Palestine.
In a statement published on its official X account, the PM Sharif said that the last development would only like the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and derail all the perspectives of peace in the region.
“We strongly condemn the approval by the Israeli cabinet of a plan to take illegal and illegitimate control of the city of Gaza.

The Prime Minister reiterated the unshakable support of Pakistan to the Palestinian people, reaffirming their right to self -determination and the creation of an independent and sovereign Palestinian State with Islamic cooperation resolutions (OCI), in accordance with a United Nations State and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
Calling the international community, Prime Minister Sharif urged urgent intervention to stop what he described as the “unjustified aggression” of Israel, to protect innocent civilians and to ensure the unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza.
Meanwhile, the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Shafqat Ali Khan, condemned in the strongest terms of the Al-Aqsa mosque by thousands of Israeli settlers, including senior officials and members of the Knesset. “These provocations, accompanied by offensive declarations, are deliberate attempts to ignite religious feelings and destabilize the region,” he warned.
