Pakistan sentenced the United States on Sunday for launching strikes on Iranian nuclear installations, qualifying the decision to violate international law and warning that it does not destabilize the region more.

The American attacks occur on the 10th day of the Israeli-Iranian war launched by the wave of strikes from Israel in Iran on June 13, degenerating the fears of a wider regional escalation. Islamabad has expressed serious concern about the rise in tensions and urged all parties to refrain from a new assault.

“These attacks violate all the standards of international law. Iran has the legitimate right to defend itself under the Charter of the United Nations,” Pakistan’s Foreign Office said in a statement.

Finding the situation “deeply disturbing”, the declaration warned that “the unprecedented escalation of violence” could have large-scale implications beyond the Middle East.

Pakistan has also stressed the importance of protecting civilians and civil infrastructure, urging all parties to respect international humanitarian law.

“The use of dialogue and diplomacy in accordance with the principles of the United Nations Charter remains the only viable journey,” said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, adding that the conflict must be ended immediately.

The declaration comes in the middle of the global concern of increasing confrontation involving Iran, Israel and now in the United States, which increases the risk of a broader war in the region.

The strikes targeted three key Nuclear Nuclear sites – Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan – according to US President Donald Trump, who announced the operation on his social platform Truth.

“All planes are now outside the Iranian airspace. A complete payload of bombs has been abandoned on the main site, Fordow,” wrote Trump, describing the success operation. He praised the American army and said, “He is now the time of peace.”

Earlier, Pakistan said it would recommend Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize for his role in the de -escalation of a recent military affair between Islamabad and New Delhi.

“President Trump has demonstrated a great strategic foresight and a sense of the stellar state thanks to a solid diplomatic commitment with Islamabad and New Delhi, which has defused a rapid deterioration situation,” said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
