Islamabad:
The Africa-1 submarine cable, the capacity of the Africa-1 capacity, successfully touched its landing on the landing site of Pakistan Telecommunication Company Limited (PTCL) in Sea View Beach, Karachi.
The Africa-1 consortium including telecommunications companies, notably Moby (Saudi Arabia), E & (Water), G42 (Water), Telecom Egypt, Zain Oman International (ZOI), Algeria Telecom, Teleymen and other world service providers.
The cable system extends over 10,000 kilometers and will connect Pakistan to Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Sudan, Algeria, France, Kenya and Djibouti.
