The Federal Minister of Health, Mustafa Kamal, said that great progress was made in the field of telemedicine by benefiting from China’s experiences.

According to Express News, the Federal Minister of Health Mustafa Kamal met the National Health Commission of China at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Conference, where the Chinese National Health Commission warmly welcomed Mustafa Kamal and expressed its best wishes.

On this occasion, the minister said that there were large Chinese investment possibilities in the health sector in Pakistan and that the transfer of technology from China to the pharmaceutical sector in Pakistan is inevitable.

He said that friendship between Pakistan and China has a long history and a solid base.

The two countries supported each other in each difficult period. Mustafa Kamal also appreciated the assistance provided by China during the COVVI-19, especially for the supply of vaccines.

The Minister of Health thanked the Chinese government on behalf of the government and the people.

Mustafa Kamal also said that the use of telemedicine is essential to reduce the gap between primary and tertiary health care.

There are large opportunities for the promotion of telemedicine in Pakistan.
