The Minister of Information, Attaullah Tarar, said on Tuesday in the National Assembly that Pakistan confronted the information of India, exposing its lies on a global scale and beating it on diplomatic and narrative fronts, during a debate on the regional situation after the recent incident of Pahalgam, reported Radio Pakistan.
The National Assembly continued its discussion on the regional benefits of what the legislators described as “the operation of false flag” from India to Pahalgam and the series of provocative actions that followed. The members through the parties of the parties reiterated that the whole Pakistani nation is united and ready to respond to any Indian mishap.
The tensions between India and Pakistan intensified following a deadly attack on April 22, 2025, in Pahalgam, India illegally occupied Jammu-et-Cachemire (Iiojk), which cost the life of 26 men as an indicator that quickly blamed the Pakistani elements for the attack, despite the presentation of any evidence, denied.
Addressing the house, Tarar said that India had attempted to block Pakistan’s online content, but in response, “Pakistan managed to have a song from its armed forces broadcast on Indian YouTube channels thanks to geotagging and buying advertising antenna time.”
He added that diplomatic and commitment efforts from Pakistan, including those led by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, highlighted Indian disinformation campaigns to the global community.
“The Pakistani nation has always offered an overwhelming defeat to the enemy,” said Tarar. “We are not attackers, but if the enemy uses misadventure, he will face such a response from our armed forces that his generations will remember it.”
Referring to the Indian atrocities underway in the Indians illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (Iiojk), the Minister reaffirmed the non -bass moral, political and diplomatic support of Pakistan to the Kashmir people, calling the cashmere “the jugular vein of Pakistan”.
He also talked about Pakistan’s front line role in the war against terrorism and the important sacrifices that the country has made. “We have credible and irrefutable evidence against terrorism sponsored by the Indian state in Pakistan,” he said, further alleging India’s involvement in the assassination of Sikh leaders abroad.
Also addressed to the House, the cases of the cashmere and the Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan Amir Muqam said that India’s baseless allegations against Pakistan following the attack on Pahalgam were an attempt to distract its actions concerning the Industry Water Treaty. He echoed the feeling that the nation is united in the face of assault.
Meanwhile, Dr. Farooq Sattar of MQM-P said that “the jingoisical state of mind” of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was a threat to regional peace and failed to obtain international support. PTI’s lawyer, Gohar Ali Khan, insisted that India “will never succeed in his harmful conceptions”, in particular with regard to water rights.
The house was adjourned to meet again on Wednesday at 11 a.m. on Wednesday.
