Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan had taught India a “lesson he will remember in life” during Marka-E-Haq, while he was addressed to Pakistani journalists based in the United Kingdom in London.
Marka-E-Haq refers to the Pakistan military operation, officially appointed Bunyanum Marsoos operation, launched in May 2025 in response to the Indian assault. It ended with what was described as a “decisive victory for Pakistan”, while the armed forces pushed the opponents with a strategic discipline and clarity.
The government praised him as a “magnificent success” and said later on May 10.

According to radio broadcaster Pakistan, the Prime Minister spoke of cooperation in Pakistan with defense with Saudi Arabia, clarifying that the pact was “not against anyone” but the reflection of decades of trust between the two nations.
Under the agreement, he said, an “attack on a country would be treated as an attack on the other”, both with a mutual consultation.
The Prime Minister underlined a close civil-military coordination, noting that he regularly consults the chief of staff of the army (COAS), the Marshal Asim is providing all questions of national interest, including foreign policy.

Shehbaz described his recent meeting with American president Donald Trump in Washington, DC as “very productive and constructive”, adding that Trump had assured him to advance bilateral economic cooperation.
On the economic level, he said that Pakistan had reached macroeconomic stability and had pushed growth despite the devastation caused by recent floods.
He cited government efforts to reduce poverty, reducing unemployment, attracting investments and supporting potential in agriculture, information technologies and minerals. “Friendly countries are ready to extend full support in Pakistan to exploit its natural resources,” he added.
The Prime Minister has reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to wiping terrorism, stressing that the country’s security forces were still memories. He also said that he had raised the fate of the cashmere and the Palestinians to the United Nations (UN).

Just before speaking to the Overseas Pakistani from the Pakistani high-commission in London, the Prime Minister said that his government’s achievements were the result of “sincerity, hard work and team efforts”.
He stressed that the government is now focusing on maintaining growth, the attraction of investments, reducing unemployment and drawing from key sectors such as agriculture, information technology and minerals.
He also underlined his speech to the United Nations General Assembly (Unga), saying that he had raised the voices of the Kashmir and the Palestinian people on the world scene. He added that suffering in Gaza represented oppression and brutality “never seen in the world”, but have expressed the hope that the summit of Arab-Islamic leaders chaired by US President Donald Trump would produce encouraging results.
