Pakistan Lands Key Posts Anti-Terroris

Islamabad:

In a major setback for India, Pakistan was elected vice-president of the CSNU terrorism fighting committee and will also chair the CSNU Taliban sanctions committee in 2025.

According to the list updated the chairs of subsidiary organizations of the UNSC, Denmark will take charge of the Sanctions Committee 1267 ISIL (Da’ish) and Al-Qaida in 2025, with Russia and Sierra Leone called Vice-Presidents.

Algeria will take the lead of the 1373 terrorism fighting committee, France, Pakistan and Russia serving as vice-president within the 15 members’ committee.
