Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan had reached economic stability and was now ready for growth because he paid tribute to the Pakistani abroad during an interaction at the Pakistani high-commissioner in London, Radio Pakistan reported.
“Pakistan makes rapid progress on economic, foreign and military fronts,” said the Prime Minister, adding that recent gains were the result of “sincerity, hard work and team efforts”.
He also mentioned: “We can overcome all difficulties and make progress with cooperation, consultations, sincerity, persistent efforts and unity,” he said, stressing that Pakistan has regained “dignity and respect in the marketing of nations”.
The Prime Minister said that his speech at the United Nations General Assembly (Unga) reflected the feelings of the Pakistani and highlighted the problems of cashmere and Palestine. “Kashmir will get its freedom one day,” he said, adding that the inhabitants of Gaza endure “the oppression and brutality that are never seen before in the world”.
Shehbaz noted that a recent meeting of the Arab-Islamic countries with American President Donald Trump would give “encouraging results” to Gaza. He said that 64,000 Muslims, including women and children, had been martyred. He also described his meeting with President Trump in Washington as “constructive and productive”, calling him “springboard” for better bilateral links.
Vice-Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ishaq Dar, said that Shehbaz Sharif had “actually represented Pakistan” at Unga, where Pakistan participated in around two dozen meetings. Dar said that eight Muslim countries, including Pakistan, Turkiye and Indonesia, had interviews with Trump on Gaza, with current follow -up meetings.

Dar also credited Shehbaz for saving Pakistan from the economic default value in 2022, saying that the economy had since stabilized. “The interest rate decreased to 11%, against a summit of 22% and inflation decreased to five% compared to 30%,” he said.
The Pakistani abroad attended the event praised the speech of Shehbaz Sharif, in particular his decision to highlight the questions of cashmere and Palestine, and said that it was “among the most listened to the session. The Prime Minister then registered his impressions in the Haut-Commission Golden Book.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, who attended the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly on Friday (UNGA), was previously animated by US President Donald Trump for White House interviews on Thursday, in the last sign of warming relations between Washington and South Asian nuclear energy.

Shehbaz Sharif was one of the senior officials of eight Arab and Muslim countries who met Trump on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly this week to discuss the strategy of the end of the War of Israel-Hamas in Gaza.
Upon his arrival at the Andrews air base, the Prime Minister was welcomed by a senior US Air Force.
The Prime Minister’s procession left the air base in the American security ring. Marshal Syed Asim Munnir also accompanied the Prime Minister.

On the American side, participants in the meeting included US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Vice-President JD Vance and senior defense officials, as well as President Donald Trump.
Before the meeting, the American president, while addressing the media, called the PM Shehbaz and the Marshal Asim Munnir.
PM calls peace, dialogue to the UNGA session
Addressing the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly (Unga), Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif praised the decisive response of the Armed Forces of Pakistan to Indian aggression as a “ will resonate through the annals of history ”. However, he called for peace, saying, “We have won the war, and now we are looking to win peace.”
Prime Minister Shehbaz said: “Pakistan’s foreign policy, guided by the vision of Quaid-Ezam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, is rooted in peace, mutual respect and cooperation. We believe in the peaceful settlement of disputes through dialogue. ”
He recalled that, from the same podium last year, he warned that Pakistan would act decisively against external aggression. “These words of my words have been true. When in May this year, my country confronted an uninsured assault on our oriental front, the enemy fell enveloped in arrogance; we have sent them back in humiliation, delivering a bloody nose,” he said.
The Prime Minister said that Pakistan had shot down seven Indian planes as an act of self -defense under the United Nations Charter in response to India’s assault.
The Prime Minister also extended an offer to India for a complete dialogue and focused on the results on all exceptional questions, stressing that South Asia needs proactive and non -provocative leadership.
Reiterating Pakistan’s determination to defend the law of 240 million people in the Indus waters, the Prime Minister warned that any violation of the treaty would be considered “an act of war”.
