  • Pakistan fighting the greatest inner war against terrorism: Bilawal.
  • Said you can’t hide anything after following the FATF process.
  • Adding Pakistan offered a impartial investigation, but India has rejected.

The former Minister of Foreign Affairs and President of the Pakistani Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, rejected India’s claims of condescension of terrorist groups to carry out attacks outside Pakistan.

In an interview with Indian journalist Karan Thapar, Bilawal said: “Pakistan does not gladly allow […] The groups you mentioned or any group to carry out terrorist attacks outside Pakistan but also in Pakistan. “”

Stressing the losses of the country during the war against terrorism, the PPP legislator said that the world was well aware that Pakistan has faced the weight of terrorism in recent decades.

“Pakistan fights and fought the greatest inner war against terrorism. We have lost 92,000 lives.

“At the rate at which terrorist attacks take place just this year only, if they continue at this rate, this year will be the bloodiest year in the history of Pakistan.”

Recalling the assassination of his mother and former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, Bilawal said: “I am also a victim of terrorism. I feel the pain of the victims of the terrorist attack of Pahalgam. I understand the trauma that their families feel more than many others cannot imagine.”

He also developed Pakistan’s current battle to eliminate the threat, saying: “Pakistan has followed a process where we have not only taken military measures against terrorist groups in Pakistan.”

He said that in the previous Zardari mandate, Pakistan had carried out an operation in southern Waziristan after Benazir’s assassination, and the next government has led another operation in northern Waziristan.

Rigorous fatf process

“We have implemented a national action plan with regard to our actions against concern for India. More recently, we have undergone a rigorous fatf [Financial Action Task Force] process.”

He added that the international community was very aware and approved Pakistan’s actions against said terrorist groups.

Bilawal added that FATF is a very rigorous process that has a complete monitoring mechanism, so it’s not like you could hide.

Slamant Indian allegations, Bilawal said that immersed after Pahalgam’s attack, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif publicly said that Islamabad was “willing to be part of any international impartial investigation into the incident, our hands are clean”.

“We had this kind of confidence. It was the Indian government that has rejected this offer. To date, the Indian government has not shared with Pakistan or the international community.”

Pakistan and India embarked on a military confrontation in May, triggered by the attack on Aprilgam of April in Jammu-Cachemire and Kashmir (Iiojk). Pakistan denied the involvement of the attack.

Bilawal had also directed a parliamentary delegation which had visited the world capitals on a mission to demystify Indian propaganda in the aftermath of the recent conflict between the two countries.

Nuclear weapons rivals have used missiles, drones and artillery fire during four -day fights – the worst for decades – before accepting a cease -fire.

In response to the Indian aggression, the Armed Forces of Pakistan launched a large-scale military reprisal action, called “Operation Bunyan-UM-Marsoos”, and has targeted several Indian military targets in several regions.

The ceasefire was announced for the first time by US President Donald Trump on social networks after Washington had interviews with both parties, but India has deferred Trump’s claims that this results from his intervention and threats to break up trade negotiations.

However, Pakistan recognized Trump’s efforts and officially recommended it for the Nobel Peace Prize 2026, citing its role in the speed of tensions between Pakistan and India last month.
