Pakistan offers a bilateral zero-tail trade agreement

Pakistan has proposed a zero-taleral bilateral trade agreement with the United States aimed at extending trade relations in several sectors.

Development comes as a result of a ceasefire agreement between Pakistan and India, negotiated by US President Donald Trump.

Following the ceasefire, President Trump praised the management of the two countries and expressed his interest in extending trade with the two nations.

The recent ceasefire concluded several days of cross-border hostilities that marked the most serious military climbing between Pakistan and India in almost three decades. The conflict began after India made air strikes in Pakistan, after an attack on April 22 at IIOJK which killed 26 tourists.

Pakistan has denied any involvement in the cashmere incident and condemned the strikes of India, which, according to Islamabad, said civil zones. In response, Pakistan launched a military reprisals operation called “Operation Bunyan-Un-Marsos”, targeting the Indian military sites in several regions.
