While New Delhi and Islamabad accepted the “complete and immediate” ceasefire after the days of military strikes, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistan had made a deliberate decision to pay in the same room “that their enemy knew very well-forcefully”.
“Pakistan clearly indicated that negotiations, which should take place at a table, would now take place on the battlefield,” said the Prime Minister while addressing the nation on Saturday evening.

Expressing his firm belief, he declared that after having overcome this crisis, all governments and institutions would concentrate their energies on the progress and prosperity of Pakistan and would not rest as long as the country sculpts a niche among the Nations Commission.
