Karachi:
After setbacks in air and terrestrial operations in the last 72 hours, India has now moved to the propagation of deceptive naval assault stories through international media, Pakistani security sources said on Saturday.
According to sources, a recent article in The telegraph wrongly claimed that an armed Indian aircraft carrier progressed to Karachi. However, security officials said the Indian naval ship remains stationed in international waters, in the same place it occupied in the night of May 6 to 7, when India made its previous strikes. There was no movement forward in this position.
“The Indian aircraft carrier is still the place where it was and has not advanced to Pakistani waters,” said sources, describing the assertions of its movement to Karachi “a deliberate disinformation aimed at creating panic”.
The telegraph The article would have suggested that Karachi airport is in the strike beach of the Indian warship. Security officials have rejected this as “sensationalism”, stressing that with current long -range weapons, any location can be targeted from afar, making such claims technically devoid of meaning and strategically out of words.
“The armed forces of Pakistan are fully alert on all tactics and provocation by the enemy,” said the sources, adding: “We keep the ability to hit any target in the enemy territory at the same time, the place and the weapons of our choice.”
The declaration reiterated that the Pakistani army closely monitors all developments and remains ready to provide a strong and effective response to any form of Indian aggression. “Our forces have responded and will continue to respond decisively to all hostile actions,” concluded security sources.
