Islamabad:
On Friday, Pakistan criticized India strongly for having sponsored terrorism on Pakistani soil and its failure to join the Indus Water Treaty (IWT) to share the data related to floods.
The spokesman for the Foreign Affairs Office, Shafqat Ali Khan, in a weekly briefing, said that India had transmitted flood information through diplomatic channels, but that he has not provided complete data and did not follow the mechanisms agreed under ICTI.
The spokesman reiterated that India is actively involved in the sponsorship of terrorism in the country. He said that Islamabad had already shared “documented evidence” of Indian participation both in the international community and to friendly nations.

“The role of India in the food of terrorism within Pakistan is well documented and has been shared worldwide,” said Khan.
He also urged the Afghan government to take significant measures against terrorist groups “operating from Afghan soil”. “Refuge for terrorists still exist in Afghanistan,” he warned. “Pakistan knows how to protect its people and its territory.”
The comments follow a recent border operation of the Pakistani forces, aimed at neutralizing threats from the whole border.
“Afghanistan must ensure that its soil is not used against Pakistan,” added the spokesperson.

Commenting on the issue of Afghan migrants, the spokesman expressed his concerns concerning the declarations of the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs and called for urgent action.
“Germany must ensure that Afghan citizens awaiting resettlement are evacuated from Pakistan as soon as possible,” said Khan.
The FO has also published a strong conviction of Israeli military actions in Khan Younis, Gaza, in particular attacks on hospitals and journalists.
“Israel continues to commit human rights violations,” said the spokesperson, adding that targeting civil infrastructure and the media is very condemnable.
