Islamabad:
Pakistan and Russia have agreed to improve road and rail connectivity between their countries through Central Asia, with the aim of stimulating regional trade and economic cooperation.
Development occurred during a bilateral meeting between the federal Minister of Communications Abdul Aleem Khan and the Russian Deputy Minister of Transport Andrey Sergeyevich Nikitin, held on the last day of the OCS ministerial conference in Tianjin, said a press release published here on Thursday.
The discussion underlined the acceleration of the construction of motorways among regional countries to facilitate this connectivity.
