Pakistan sees sharp decline in terrorist violence

Terrorist incidents in Pakistan have seen a considerable decline due to Operation Ghazab lil-Haq.

Thanks to this operation, terrorist incidents in March this year decreased by 59 percent compared to last month (February).

According to a factual report by the renowned research organization, ‘Center for Security Research and Studies’, published by Arab News, the nefarious designs of terrorists have been crushed due to Pakistan’s effective strategy under Operation Ghazab Lil Haq. The report said that compared to the previous quarter, terrorism decreased by 57 percent in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with a clear reduction also observed in other cities.

Similarly, terrorist incidents and deaths decreased in the first quarter of the year compared to last year, the report added.

Overall, terrorist incidents in Pakistan declined by 18 percent in the first three months of the year, the report said.

The increase in terrorist casualties in security force operations reflects the fact that these operations have become more coordinated, more effective and more lethal, the report said.

According to the report, attacks on unarmed civilians were carried out in Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the federal capital by Fitna al-Khwarij and Fitna al-Hindustan.

International experts also believe that as part of Operation Ghazab lil-Haq, terrorist centers in Afghanistan suffered heavy damage, which helped improve the security situation in Pakistan.
