The 7th Open Asian Taekwondo of Combaxx championships witnessed the exciting action on Sunday while athletes from all over Asia participated in various weight categories.
Pakistan continued to demonstrate its domination, obtaining 2 gold, 4 silver and 8 bronze medals in the male and female divisions, further strengthening its position in the championship.
In the male category -48 kg, Ahmed Muzamil obtained a silver medal for Pakistan, while Qureshi Muhammad Suleman and Ansari provided bronze medals, presenting the strong presence of Pakistan on the podium. Tamim Rahmani of Afghanistan took gold in this category.
The male division -55 kg saw another intense battle, with Aked Hukmuddin of Afghanistan affirming the gold medal. Yasir Muhammad, from Pakistan, obtained money, while Sameer Muhammad and Akbar Sh Muhammad Muaz have won bronze medals at home, adding in total in Pakistan.
In the female category -44 kg, Anwar Ayesha of Pakistan achieved a remarkable feat by winning gold, while Habiba Umme obtained money. Sarwary Manahil and Aslam Safia have won bronze medals, guaranteeing a complete finish of the Pakistani podium.
Pakistan continued its victory sequence in the female category -49 kg, where Khan Aiman won gold and Fatima Ghouse obtained money. Khawakani Fatima Tuz Zahra and Khan Khadija won bronze medals, more solidifying Pakistan’s domination in female taekwondo.
The exceptional performances of the third day have strengthened the number of medals in Pakistan, demonstrating the growing force of the country in Asian Taekwondo.
