Pakistan shot down three Indian Air Force planes (IAF) and destroyed a brigade headquarters in India on Wednesday in retaliation following Indian missile attacks against the cities of Punjab and Azad Cashmere, who martyr at least 3 Pakistanis and have injured 12 others.
Indian strikes occur in the middle of increased tensions between nuclear weapons neighbors in the aftermath of an attack on tourists who left 26 dead in the pahalgam of Jammu-Jammu and Kashmir (Iiojk).
“The Pakistani armed forces give an appropriate response to Indian aggression,” said the Director General of Public Relations between Public Services (ISPR), Lieutenant-General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry.
The Pakistani army destroyed a headquarters of the Indian army brigade, according to security sources. A Pakistani forces missile strike also wiped out an enemy position in the Dhundial sector of the control line (LOC), the sources added.
Security sources have also declared that the Pakistani Air Force and the Pakistani army offered a “strong and decisive response” to the loose attack of India.
Sources have said that the Pakistani army has also shot down the Indian drone in the barnala sector along the de facto border.

Shortly after midnight, explosions were heard in several cities, including Kotli, Bahawalpur, Muridke, Bagh and Muzaffarabad, reported the state media.
Lieutenant-General Chaudhry announced shortly after the Indian armed forces have made missile strikes in the cities of Punjab and Kashmir of Azad.
