Pakistan succeeded on a launch of surface missile on the FATAH series on Monday with a range of 120 kilometers on Monday, according to an official statement by the army media.
Inter-service public relations (ISPR) said that the launch was carried out as part of the current military exercise exercise INDUST.
The objective of launching the training was to ensure the operational preparation of the Pakistani army troops and to validate the key technical parameters of the missile system, including its advanced navigation system and its increased targeting precision, said the ISPR.
The launch was observed by senior officials from the Pakistani army, as well as scientists and engineers associated with the country’s strategic organizations.
Following the test, the president of the president’s chiefs of the president and the chief of staff of the army congratulated the participating staff, expressing any confidence in the operational preparation and the technical capacities of the armed forces to defend the territorial integrity of Pakistan against any external threat.
