Pakistan, Thailand to expand the links

Islamabad:

Senator DPM / FM ISHAQ DAR met the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Thailand Maris Sangiampongsa on the sidelines of high -level events during the Pakistani presidency of the United Nations Security Council on Wednesday.

The two leaders expressed their satisfaction with the positive impetus of bilateral links, in particular in cultural and parliamentary exchanges, contacts, trade and tourism of people to the person, said a press release from the office of a DPM.

They have agreed to expand cooperation in a number of areas, including food security, fishing, defense and regional connectivity.

FM Maris congratulated Pakistan for its presidency of the CSNU and appreciated its contributions to the work of the Council.
