Islamabad:
The Deputy Prime Minister / Minister of Foreign Affairs, Senator Ishaq Dar, received an appeal from the Secretary of State for the United States Marco Rubio on Saturday and discussed questions of mutual interest.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two leaders expressed their satisfaction with the positive trajectory of Pakistani links and discussed recent regional and international developments.
They reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen bilateral relations in multifaceted cooperation areas.

Senator DPM / FM Ishaq Dar received a telephone call on Saturday from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt, Dr. Badr Abdeatty.
“The two leaders strongly condemned Israeli illegal strikes not caused in Doha and discussed the terms and details of the next Foreign Ministers’ Council of Foreign Affairs in Doha, scheduled for Sunday, September 14,” the Foreign Office spokesman said in a statement.
Israel has targeted Hamas leaders on Tuesday in strikes on the Qatari capital, killing five Hamas members and a Qatari security official. The attack led to a general condemnation, including monarchies in the Allied Gulf in the United States.
