Las Vegas, Nevada – The Government of Pakistan plans to establish a strategic bitcoin
Reserve and support Bitcoin Mining, the country’s Minister of State for Blockchain and Crypto Bilal Bin Saqib announced Bitcoin 2025 on Wednesday in Las Vegas.
Bin SAQIB said Pakistan’s plans for a Bitcoin strategic reserve were inspired by the native plan of the American president Donald Trump for a Strategic Bitcoin reserve in the United States, which – at least at the start – will be filled with assets of the US and civil confiscation government, estimated at around 200,000 bitcoins. He also said that the Government of Pakistan followed the United States’s push for stable legislation, the law on engineering, “very carefully”.
As the bitcoins reserved for the American strategic reserve, Bin Saquib said that the Pakistani government would not sell its bitcoins.
“This portfolio, the national Bitcoin portfolio, is not intended for speculation or to threw media. We will hold these bitcoins and we will never sell them,” said Bin SAQIB.
In addition to setting up a strategic reserve, Bin SAQIIB announced that the Pakistan government had affected 2,000 megawatts of electricity for Bitcoin extraction and AI data centers. “We want to welcome all the minors to come with us,” said Bin Saqib.
Bin SAQIB said that the creation of a Bitcoin strategic reserve in Pakistan would be “just the start” of the country of cryptographic industry.
“We have more than 100 million people who are not banished. They lack the tools for savings, for investment, and we want to change this. We want them to break their economic lessons. And I really believe that crypto and blockchain can help us take this quantum jump, “said Bin Saqib. “We want token our non -liquid assets.
