Pakistan to increase action against illegal foreigners, power flight and the begging of the mafia

The government of Pakistan will intensify operations targeting undocumented foreign nationals, the flight of electricity and organized street begging, reported the state diffuser on Saturday, citing the Ministry of the Interior.

The decision followed a high -level security meeting chaired by the Federal Minister of the Interior Mohin Naqvi – the third type of this type with the Terrorism Committee and the hardening State Committee. More than 250 intelligence operations are now carried out daily across the country, targeting various forms of organized illegality.

The session has also examined progress on anti-accusing readers, the regulation of the digital fuel pump and the next creation of Pakistan Port Authority.

Developments in the City Safe City project of Gwadar City, including the construction of a protective wall and the deployment of digital application stations on the Indus River, were discussed.

The efforts to install an intelligent transport system (ITS) for road surveillance and a new legal mechanism allowing customs agents and assistant commissioners to seal the service stations that sold illegal fuel were also described.

Among the people present were the Minister of State in the Interior Tallal Chaudhry, the minister of Law Punjab Sohaib Ahmed Bharti, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, information lawyer, Muhammad Ali Saif and the Minister of the Interior of Gilgit-Baltistan.

Last week, Minister NAQVI chaired a key meeting where decisive actions were approved against the Pakistani nationals expelled from other countries.

It was agreed that the first information reports (FIR) will be submitted against all deportees, their passports will be dismissed and their names will be added to the passport control list for five years.

Stressing the damage caused to the country’s global position, Minister Naqvi said that deportees have become a source of diplomatic embarrassment and that the State will now adopt a zero tolerance approach to these individuals.

Meanwhile, Pakistan continued to expel Afghan refugees as part of a wider campaign targeting illegal residence. In addition to deportations to the border, application measures have been intensified in urban centers.
