Pakistan to welcome the first Pakistani convention abroad in Islamabad

The Government of Pakistan, in collaboration with the Pakistani Foundation abroad (OPF), will host the very first Pakistani convention abroad in Islamabad from April 13 to 15.

According to a press release published by the Overseas Pakistani Ministry, the objective of the Convention is to warmly welcome the Pakistanis abroad, to listen to their concerns and to incorporate their precious suggestions in the improvement of the development of policies, expressed Express News.

The government has decided that all Pakistanis abroad attend the Convention will be granted the status of state guests.

Special arrangements, including welcome banners and reception protocols, are being taken at airports for their arrival.

Participants will be received with honors and respect, and public celebrations will also be held in their honor.

According to the Prime Minister’s special instructions, these agreements reflect the government’s commitment to make it considered that Pakistan is really their home.

The Convention aims to provide a shared platform where Pakistanis abroad, government representatives and national institutions can engage under one roof.

To facilitate this, various government services create assistance offices on the site to provide information, advice and services in one place.

This initiative reflects the gravity of the government of Pakistan by responding to the concerns of Pakistani abroad and offering appropriately solutions.

The Convention will also invite the community abroad to actively contribute to the development course of Pakistan and to explore the improvements in existing services and policies for expatriates.

Islamabad needing a “world class” exhibition center

The Minister of Finance, Muhammad Aurangzeb, said that Islamabad should have a world class exhibition center where international traders could exhibit their products in a better way, according to a report on the PTV world managed by the State.

Speaking during the inaugural session of Gujranwala Expo in Islambad, the Minister of Finance said that measures were underway for economic stability and that the government undertakes to promote export -based economic growth.

Muhammad Aurangzeb said that the economy will become stronger than promoting exports.

He said that the exhibition has given a lot of encouragement that Pakistan has such products that are internationally competitive and could become a global brand as we advance.
