Islamabad:
Pakistan and Turkey agreed Thursday to deepen their bilateral links, setting an objective of $ 5 billion for bilateral trade while President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif denounced the Gaza control plan of the President Trump.
Erdogan, leading a delegation of great power at the last stage of his three nations tour, held a series of meetings in Islamabad. The two parties had official talks to Prime Minister House and Erdogan and Shehbaz co -chaired the high -level strategic cooperation council.
They also attended a Pakistani commercial form. The Turkish president separately also met his Pakistani counterpart Asifi Ali Zardari.
During talks, the two parties examined bilateral links in particular trade relations, defense cooperation and discussed key regional and international issues.
“With Mr. Prime Minister, we agree to increase our efforts to reach the objective of $ 5 billion in commercial volume,” the Turkish president said at a joint press conference with Prime Minister Shehbaz.
Erdogan highlighted the importance of the collaboration of the private sector, encouraging Turkish investors to extend their activities in Pakistan.
“(Thanks to Türkiye-Pakistan Business Forum) we encourage our investors, who are the engine of economic cooperation, to engage in more activities in Pakistan,” he said.
As part of high -level talks, 24 agreements were signed to strengthen cooperation in various sectors.
Erdogan expressed his gratitude for the strong support of Pakistan in Türkiye’s struggle against terrorism.
“We reiterate our support in Pakistan in its fight against terrorism in all its types.
Erdogan described Türkiye and Pakistan as two major countries linked by inexpressible ties, emphasizing the deeply rooted relationship between the two nations.
The Turkish President also recognized Pakistan’s continuous support for the rights of Turkish Cypriots, calling it very significant.
Erdogan also reiterated the Türkiye Stance on Palestine firm, saying that they will continue to fight with patience for the creation of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state based on the borders of 1967, with East Jerusalem as capital.

Sharif also underlined the unique link between the two nations, calling it an unrivaled relationship based on history and shared values.
Meanwhile, a joint declaration published after the talks described the relationship between Pakistan and Turkey as “two souls, a heart” as the foundation of bilateral relations between the two countries.
The HLSCC is the main political forum that guides bilateral relations in all areas.
According to the joint declaration, the joint working groups of the HLSCC will be called “permanent joint committees” (JSC) to better reflect their permanent nature.
Three new JSCs, namely “Security, Defense and Intelligence JSC”, “Health JSC” and “Science and Technology JSC”, were established under the HLSCC mechanism.
The two parties underline the need for resolution of all the disputes in progress between Pakistan and India, including the basic dispute of Jammu and Kashmir, in accordance with the resolutions and wishes of the cashmere of the cashmere. In this regard, Pakistan expresses its deep assessment for the position of principle of Türkiye on the issue.
The two countries reiterate full support and resolved to efforts to the right, sustainable and sustainable regulations of the Cyprus issue. They also pointed out that Afghanistan should not become a safe refuge for terrorist groups. All the measures necessary to combat terrorism must be taken by the interim Afghan authorities, including against TTP and Daesh, which remain listed within the framework of the CSNU 1267 sanctions regime.
The two parties underline the need to strengthen multilateralism, in particular through universal and coherent adhesion to the fundamental principles of the United Nations Charter to meet the existing and emerging international challenges, in an effective and credible way.
The two parties stressed that the United Nations Security Council must be made more representative, democratic, transparent and responsible thanks to a complete reform process of the United Nations Security Council, on the basis of a wider consensus possible . In addition, they underlined the need for the implementation of the relevant resolutions of the United Nations Security Council to resolve long -standing disputes on the agenda of the Security Council, in particular those concerning the Ummah Muslim.
The two parties expressed their serious concern in the face of the losses of unprecedented lives and goods as well as the displacement of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians due to the blind use of force by Israel. By welcoming the ceasefire of Gaza, they expressed the hope that the truce would lead to a permanent and durable ceasefire.
They urged the need to extend humanitarian assistance, including through the continuous and released operation from UNRWA, the return of all the Palestinians moved to them, as well as international efforts concerted for early reconstruction from Gaza. They pointed out that any attempt to move the Palestinians from their land as well as pursuing illegal establishments is a blatant violation of international law.
The two parties urged the need to find a just and complete solution for the establishment of a sovereign, independent and contiguous Palestinian state based on the fronts of 1967, with al-qui al-Sharif as capital.
