Vice -Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Sunday, during which they examined bilateral cooperation in Pakistan – Türkiye and discussed regional and international developments.
According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two parties expressed serious concerns about the humanitarian situation in Gaza. DAR condemned Israel’s plan for complete military control, which called it a violation of international law and resolutions of the United Nations Security Council.
He underlined the urgent need for unhindered humanitarian aid and the end of what he called Israeli impunity.

Earlier, DAR called to accelerate the implementation of proposals and development projects already contained, emphasizing the need for a timely action and coordination in the relevant ministries within the framework of the Pakistan-Turkiye partnership.

DAR chaired a high-level meeting of the Commission on improving the bilateral commitment of Pakistan-Türkiye.
During the meeting, the Committee was informed of progress in several areas of bilateral collaboration, including economics, trade, industry, education, health, energy, defense, infrastructure and connectivity.
