Pakistan, UK hold ministerial-level talks

ISLAMABAD:

Pakistan and the United Kingdom on Tuesday convened Pakistan-UK ministerial-level development talks to advance a partnership of mutual benefit.

These are the first development talks at ministerial level since 2017. The talks were led by Federal Minister for Economic Affairs, Ahad Khan Cheema, and UK Minister of State for International Development and Africa, Baroness Chapman of Darlington, from the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.

Bilal Azhar Kiyani, Minister of State for Finance and Ms. Jane Marriott, British High Commissioner to Pakistan, along with senior government officials, were also present at the talks.
