Islamabad:
On Monday, Pakistan vehemently rejected the Indian media according to which it used the Shaheen missile, which can transport nuclear warheads, during “operation Bunyanun Marsoos”.
Indian media reports said Pakistan used a Shaheen -II missile to nuclear compensation – a medium -range ballistic missile with a range of 2,500 kilometers – but was intercepted by its S -400 air defense system.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs firmly rejected the unfounded allegations circulating in certain Indian media segments, which wrongly claim that Pakistan used the Shaheen missile during Operation Bunyanun Marsoos (BM),” said spokesperson for the foreign office.
The spokesman said these statements come following the publication of a video by the official Indian Army Twitter handle, allegedly showing the use of the Shaheen missile from Pakistan. After realizing that the complaint was not founded, the Indian army quickly removed the misleading video.
However, by then, the sections of the Indian media had already amplified the false story without verification. Unfortunately, some Indian points of sale continue to spread this disinformation, according to the spokesperson.
The spokesman said it should be noted that the official Indian army handle had remained silent on the issue, offering neither clarification nor retraction for the erroneous position.
Analysts observe that such disinformation campaigns are part of a deliberate attempt to observe India’s setbacks in its operation Sindoor, which was the result of the conventional military capacities demonstrated by Pakistan.
“In addition, these fabricated stories are aligned with the continuous efforts of New Delhi to promote a deceptive story concerning the ceasefire and the baseless allegations of so-called nuclear blackmail ” by Pakistan,” said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The range of weapons used by Pakistan is detailed in the ISPR press release on May 12. The Pakistani armed forces have used long -term fatah -guided Fatah missiles, long -term long -term killers and long -term precision drones.
FATAH-1 is a surface-to-surface guided missile developed by Pakistan. This series also includes another missile, the Fatah-2. According to the media wing of the Pakistani army, inter-service public relations (ISPR), this missile has a range of up to 400 kilometers and is able to precisely strike its target.
Military sites in Indian and Indian in Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), targeted by illegally, targeted by these assets are also listed in the press release of the ISPR of May 12.
The dissemination of the non-verified and inflammatory content mine not only regional stability, but also does not reflect the professionalism of official institutions, warned the spokesperson.
