Pakistan and water have reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthen bilateral links, especially in business fields, infrastructure development, culture and contacts from people to people.
This understanding was reached at a meeting between President Asif Ali Zardari and the crown prince of Abu Dhabi and the president of the Executive Council of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed, in Aiwan-E-Sadr on Thursday.
President of the Pakistani Pakistani Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, First Lady / MNA Asefa Bhutto Zardari, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar and senior officials attended the meeting.
Welcoming the Crown Prince, the president said that Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates enjoyed long -standing people to links and culturals covering more than three generations, and underlined the need to transmit this heritage to future generations to further consolidate the historical link.
The president appreciated the remarkable development obtained by the water under his dynamic direction. He expressed the appreciation of Pakistan for the unwavering support of the United Arab Emirates in Pakistan and cooperation in various sectors. He stressed the importance of promoting closer economic and commercial relations and invited investors to water to explore new opportunities in the emerging sectors of Pakistan.
His Highness Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed reiterated the commitment of the United Arab Emirates to strengthen his cooperation with Pakistan. He said that the mussel signed during his visit reflected confidence and lasting relationships between the two countries.
Later, the president conferred the Nishan-I-Pakistan prize in Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan in recognition of his services and his unwavering support in Pakistan during a special inauguration ceremony in Aiwan-E-Sadr.
Sheikh Khaled Bin Mohamed Bin Zayed had played a decisive role in promoting economic, commercial and investment cooperation between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates, in addition to playing a central role in strengthening long and fraternal relationships.
Its leadership has facilitated the announcement of important investment initiatives in the Pakistani economy, aimed at stimulating key sectors such as infrastructure, energy, health care and technology, contributing to socio-economic progress in Pakistan.
