Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Perviz Malik and the United States are responsible for business in Pakistan Natalie in Baker on Wednesday discussed means of strengthening bilateral cooperation in the energy sector, especially in oil, gas and minerals.
During a meeting, Natalie A Baker charges affairs highlighted the important American investment opportunities in the energy landscape of Pakistan. “There is a strong and growing interest on the part of American companies in the oil, gas and minerals in Pakistan, in accordance with President Trump’s vision,” she said.
“The United States is determined to work with Pakistan. The United States Embassy will actively facilitate direct links between American companies and its Pakistani counterparts in the exploration and production sector (E&P) to unlock this potential.”
According to a press release published by the Ministry of Petroleum, Ali Perviz Malik praised the lively interests of American investors and detailed the opportunities to come.
“The Government of Pakistan undertakes a call for tenders for oil and gas exploration blocks in offshore, which presents a formidable opportunity for international partners,” said the minister.
“Pakistan has reserves of significant inexperienced oil and shale gas, and the conversion of these Aboriginal resources into tangible reserves is a target of our government.” We are already engaged in a positive exchange of information with American companies, “said Ali Pervaiz Malik.
