Islamabad:
The Ministry of Religious Affairs informed the Senate panel that the final number of intentional hajj pilgrims under the operators of the private Hajj is subject to the approval of the quota by the Saudi government.
The Secretary of the Ministry, Dr. Attor Rehman, informed the subcommittee of the Senate Religious Affairs Committee, explaining that payments for the Qadana and Tawafa services are filed in Saudi Arabia. Once the funds are transferred from there, they will be disbursed among the organizers.
He noted that funds could be used for the next Hajj if the system is maintained.
The Senator of the subcommittee of the AWN Abbas Bappi subcommittee has inquired about the deductions for pilgrims requesting reimbursements and asked for details concerning correspondence with the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).
He also asked questions about the funds filed by mistake.
The secretary of the ministry assured that pilgrims who intend to receive reimbursements.
Senator Bappi also asked why the SBP had not increased the daily transfer of fund transfer. The secretary of the ministry replied that only the organizers with at least 14,000 Riyals in their accounts were authorized.
