Mellencamp, however, said in a statement that he was “embarrassed” that “someone” used “a bad sporty spirit” – without mentioning McAfee by name. McAfee replied on X that “I am someone”.
But during his own show on Friday, McAfee retaliated on the singer.
“When the Knicks play Gainbridge, I think there will be hoots. There could be negative things to the other team. It is sort of how sport works, I think,” started McAfee. “We are going to be an agent of good things to sporting things that happen. Only positive applause in the future, because it will make John Cougar Mellencamp happy.”
The former Indianapolis Colt added: “I don’t know what he was thinking of doing.”
“He publishes this horrible quote tweet, horrible graphic. John, I can’t tell you how bad everything you have done.

“You thought you were going to bury me? I do not think, John! Hey coug ‘. Suck my friend. I hope to have the chance to see you very soon. I will probably be in the same place soon. I don’t want any of your bulls – I don’t love you.”
The Pacers won the match 4 after McAfee took the microphone to take a command of 3-1, but the series returned to Indiana after the Knicks wiped the ground With the Pacers in match 5.
Hide McAfee challenged to attend match 5 At Madison Square Garden in New York on Thursday, but McAfee said that he “did not pay $ 70,000 for a ticket.”

Match 6 will be played on Saturday evening in Indiana, where it seems likely that the two new enemies will both be.
