Pat McAfee, who described Canada a “terrible country” during the WWE chamber of elimination chamber on Saturday evening in Toronto, continued to ring the neighbor of the United States in the north on Monday.
McAfee publicly burned Canadians on Saturday evening after the US national anthem was hue – a common phenomenon during sporting events recently following the rhetoric of the “51st state” of President Donald Trump.
“This is the most stacked elimination chamber that WWE has ever had,” said McAfee when broadcasting on the à la carte. “A little sucks that it was in the terrible country in Canada that hooked our national anthem to start all this.”

McAfee was ridiculed for his comments, declaring on his “The Pat McAfee Show” that he saw “the terrible things that were said about me”.
But that has not dissuaded McAfee to explain why he said what he said – and he always holds it.
“Now, Canada, listen, there have been some things that told me about Canadians that I guess I respect because of the passion you have for your country – which I hope you understand that I show the same thing for mine,” said McAfee in the series. “You hooked my country.”

McAfee said that the Rogers Center was very strong with its huts during the anthem.

“I understand, now, Canadians that they have much more passion for their country than I could have imagined. Many terrible things have been said about me, and I understand it,” continued McAfee.
“I did not say that the Canadians were terrible. I said that your country was. You hook us. I said that you were terrible. Using your hand and moving forward. I still love Canadians … I hope it settles down.”
McAfee also posted on X after seeing the backlash he received for his comments.
“I am very proud and grateful that I am Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in the United States of America … The Canadians have a lot of passion for their country and I understand it … You have huated our country and I said that you are terrible ..” wrote McAfee in his article.
The confrontation of the 4 NHL nations is the place where hoots were heard first, while the American team faced the Canada team in Montreal after President Trump threatened heavy prices on the country’s goods, as well as calling “51st state”.
