The 44 -year -old crashed in the post office located in a shopping center around 3 am early Sunday morning. It took about 50 firefighters per hour and a half to extinguish the flames, according to the NBC Bay region.

Pat was an NFL star for the Cardinals of Arizona who left his career in football to enlist in the United States army in May 2002. The decision was made after the attacks of September 11, 2001.

Tillman served in Iraq and Afghanistan as army ranger, making several fighting visits before being killed in the Afghan mountains.

Although it was initially reported that Tillman had been killed by enemy fire, the Pentagon told his family that he had been killed by friendly fire. In 2007, the Pentagon judged that Tillman’s death was accidental.
